"Unfortunately John McCain couldn't make it. Recently he claimed that he had never identified himself as a Maverick. And we all know what happens in Arizona when you don't have Id. Adios, Amigos." [Applause]
President with his poignant joke sparked a great idea in my head. The idea of a course which can teach the meaning of AB1070 to our esteemed Senators (the non-Maverick being one of them).
Each one of the Senators should drive a pickup truck, to be rented by Leader Reid. He/she should drive around an area infested with Cops. He/she should then drive 10-15 or more miles over the speed limit until stopped by a Cop. When asked for the Drivers license the Senator should say "officer it seems like I misplaced it somewhere in th house". At that point the Cop is supposed to ask "Sir/Madam, are you a Citizen of the United States?". He/she should answer in the affirmative.
When asked for the proof of Citizenship the Senator should say a little rudely "Officer, do you really expect me to carry my birth certificate around?". If this irritates the cop sufficiently and he takes the Senator to the station and books him/her, the Cop has passed the exam. He did the proper interrogation and did not discriminate based on skin color.
If however the Cop says, "Please carry your driver's license with you the next time. You may go on for now. Good day." The Senator at this point should ask the Cop for his id and tell him that you will be suing him for not applying the AB1070 law as mandated.
At this point either the Senator proceeds home or gets beaten up into pulp. Either way his education is complete. If he/she submits a good report, a frameable certificate will be provided.
